For its simple and efficient design and functionality, MUJI has attracted many fans throughout the world. While MUJI is a newcomer in the U.S. marketplace, from colorful pens to simple clothes to frying pans, many people in America already embrace MUJI products in their daily life. In this program, internationally acclaimed designers Naoto Fukasawa, Kenya Hara and John Maeda discuss the concepts behind the creation, design and essence of MUJI.
Followed by a book signing and reception featuring “MUJI BOOK,” the firm’s 30th year anniversary publication.
