442 – Live with Honor, Die with Dignity
is the story of a group of extreme World War II patriots. The "442nd" was a segregated unit of "Nisei" Japanese American soldiers. They became one of the most decorated units in the history of the United States. These soldiers of the 442nd had to overcome numerous challenges: they fought not only for the victory of the country, but also to prove their loyalty as Americans and defend the rights of Japanese Americans. To these men who were once categorized as “enemy aliens”, President Truman said “You fought not only the enemy, but you fought prejudice and you won.”
