Fumihiko Maki: The Construction of Place

Throughout his career, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Fumihiko Maki has focused on maintaining several major principles in his designs, regardless of the location, type or scale of his projects. Maki will discuss these principles as well as his recent projects in Japan and overseas, including 4 World Trade Center in New York, MediaCorp in Singapore, The Bihar Museum in Patna, India, and The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. Moderated by Toshiko Mori, Robert P. Hubbard Professor in the Practice of Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design and principal of Toshiko Mori Architect, PLLC. Followed by a reception.
