Screening 7:30 PM
Party 9:00 PM

The world-famous Walker Art Center’s 2014 Internet Cat Video Festival makes its Manhattan debut, featuring a 70-minute compilation of cat videos, from hiss-terical Vines to paw-some short films and everything in between. After the screening, lap up a sake meow-jito and mingle with other cool cats at our festive feline fête. It’s the purr-fect chance to put on your Cat Fanciest attire and prowl the Life of Cats exhibition of traditional Japanese cat woodblock prints, the original cat-crazy mass media.

The screening will begin with a special video message and introduction from YouTube star Theo the Talking Cat!

Unfortunately live animals are not allowed in the building, so please leave your furry friends at home.

The Internet Cat Video Festival is produced and curated by the Walker Art Center.

Tickets: $20/$16 Japan Society members (tickets include exhibition admission, 1 drink and light snacks; cash bar with $5 beer, sake and wine thereafter. Participants must be 21 years old or over.)
