Alex York.
Interested in kicking your Japanese up a notch? Always wanted to learn but never had the opportunity? High school students are invited to learn Japanese through fun, interactive classes and theater workshops during this two-week summer program. Led by expert high school Japanese teacher, Mami Fujisaki, with mini-sessions by actors, theater insiders, and pop singer Alex York, participants will enhance and deepen both their Japanese language and theater performance knowledge and skills. The workshop culminates in a performance for family and friends.

Open to students entering 9th-12th grade in Fall 2012. Recommended for beginner through intermediate Japanese language students; advanced students also welcome. No prior theater experience necessary.
