A unique take on the 47 Ronin story, this epic film propelled Shintaro Katsu to superstardom alongside then-reigning Raizo Ichikawa. Samurai Vendetta is the tragic tale of two swordsmen whose clans are embroiled in a blood feud, and who vie for the same woman. Betrayal, dishonor and death ensue.
