Once relegated to low-priced instant food status, ramen has transformed itself into a sought after Japanese comfort food, especially in New York City. There are dozens of ramen noodle restaurants in the City that serve a wide variety of flavors to a diverse audience. Today’s noodle boom is a great way to discover the Japan’s broad flavor spectrum, with each region boasting unique ingredients and preparation techniques.
