Dr. Hiroshi Ishiguro on Robot Science From Japan
On February 5, leading international robotics researcher Dr. Hiroshi Ishiguro, Director of the Intelligent Robotics Lab at Osaka University, spoke at Japan Society about his current humanoid and telenoid research. He covered hot topics such as brain-machine interface for the remote operation of androids, and other practical uses for humanoids, like theater. Erico Guizzo, Senior Associate Editor, IEEE Spectrum Magazine, presided over a conversation with Heather Knight, founder of Marilyn Monrobot.
