Japan Society's performing arts season presents a range of border-crossing cultural mash-ups that examine the artist as a global connector. Partnerships with organizations around the city create unique experiences of Japanese culture.



Workshops

Major support for Japan Society 2010-2011 Performing Arts Programs is provided by the Lila Wallace-Reader’s Digest Endowment Fund and the Endowment for the Performing Arts, established with leadership gifts from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, The Globus Family, Kyocera Corporation, The Starr Foundation and Toyota Motor Corporation.

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council; and the New York State Council on the Arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State's 62 counties.
