2014 Annual Dinner

We are pleased to announce that Douglas L. Peterson, President and Chief Executive Officer of McGraw Hill Financial, will be the speaker at the Japan Society’s Annual Dinner to be held on Thursday, June 5 at the Hilton New York. The reception begins at 6:30 pm and the dinner program at 7:30 pm. Attire will be black-tie optional. Each year the Annual Dinner attracts approximately 700 prominent business and diplomatic leaders. Since interest in attending this event is high, we urge you to make your reservation as soon as possible. Please complete and return the registration form by May 7.

2013 Annual Dinner Overview
Japan Society’s 2013 Annual Dinner was held on Monday, June 3 at the Hilton New York. Nearly 700 guests gathered to hear Robert H. Benmosche, President and Chief Executive Officer of AIG, deliver the keynote speech. Following dinner, taiko legend Kenny Endo and rock shamisen virtuoso Hiromitsu Agatsuma performed together. The evening ended with the presentation of the Japan Society Award to Minoru “Ben” Makihara, Former Chairman, President & CEO of Mitsubishi Corporation, after a tribute from Dr. George Packard, President of the United States-Japan Foundation.
