Shop

Japan Society's boutique shop features traditional and contemporary Japanese design and offers an assortment of unique gifts and collectibles. Merchandise collections include furniture from the Nakashima workshop, vintage lacquer ware, iron teapots and cups, traditional Oribe pottery, one-of-a kind contemporary ceramics, sake sets, prints by Akira Tokuda, and books devoted to Japanese design, cooking and travel.
Japan Society members receive a 10% discount on all shop purchases.

Japan Society's Shop is located on the second floor, adjacent to the Gallery entrance.
Shop hours:
Tuesday to Thursday, 11 am - 6 pm
Friday, 11 am - 9 pm
Saturday & Sunday, 11 am - 5 pm
Closed Mondays.
