Japan Society Internship Program

Japan Society is sponsoring an internship program for fall 2020, and the 2020-2021 academic year for college and graduate students as well as recent graduates. The program offers part-time internships that provide a wide range of opportunities for participants to learn about non-profit administration in a cultural institution, obtain job market skills and experience, and gain an appreciation of Japanese arts and culture, as well as business and policy. While the internships are unpaid, Japan Society values its interns and provides the following benefits:

  • Free admission for intern and a guest to New York City’s museums, zoos and gardens
  • Free or reduced-priced admission to Japan Society’s programs and events
  • Tuition discount for Japanese-language classes at Japan Society’s Language Center
  • In-service training workshops for interns.
