Help us continue vital U.S.-Japan dialogues on business, politics, and society.
Your generous donation allows us to continue to provide high-quality programming to children, schools and educators at an affordable price. As part of our commitment to providing opportunities for all, Japan Society offers full and partial tuition waivers based on need to our Summer Immersion Workshop for Teens, free Gallery Lessons for Title 1 schools, free arts and culture programs for school groups and affordable pricing for our family and educator workshops.
Every dollar you donate will help Japan Society Gallery mount groundbreaking, visually stunning exhibitions that introduce New Yorkers to every aspect of Japanese visual culture. From prehistoric pots to manga, woodblock prints of swashbuckling heroes to contemporary installations and video, classic screens and scrolls to today’s masterpieces of ceramic, textile or bamboo art, Japan Society Gallery intersperses the contemporary with the classic to create challenging, and informative exhibitions that aesthetically bridge the gap between the U.S. and Japan.
