As the global economy continues its robust growth, the Japanese economy is poised to emerge from over two decades of slow growth and stagnating prices. In 2017, Japan’s economic growth picked up and many experts believe that the economy will maintain a moderate recovery this year. What is driving economic growth in Japan? What is next for womenomics and other key policies of Abenomics following the 2017 election? How will Japan’s economic growth affect the U.S. and world economy? In this program, speakers examine Japan’s economy, the key drivers of economic growth, and its impact on the global economy.
