In 2014, Suntory Holdings acquired Beam for ¥1.6 trillion, creating Beam Suntory and appointed Mr. Tak Niinami, former head of major convenience store operator Lawson Inc., to become Suntory Holdings’ first Chief Executive Officer from outside of the founding family. How has Suntory progressed toward true integration? How are they uniting people and organizations across countries and businesses? In this lecture, Mr. Niinami will discuss Suntory’s journey to become a global company and the keys to a successful integration.
