PricewaterhouseCoopers and The Conference Board both conduct their own studies on CEO attitudes in the United States and abroad.  David Jansen of PricewaterhouseCoopers discusses his recent survey of 300 global CEOs and their attitudes toward Japan since the March 11 earthquake and tsunami and subsequent nuclear accident. Jonathan Spector of The Conference Board discusses trends in The Conference Board’s CEO Confidence Index and its annual global CEO Challenge, with a focus on Asian executives.  Mr. Jansen and Mr. Spector also examine the impact CEO confidence has on global and local economies—with a focus on Asia and in particular Japan.
