Doll Festival: Hinamatsuri

Come enjoy the displays of intricately decorated Hinamatsuri dolls and learn the songs, traditions and history that surrounds Japan’s Doll Festival, which celebrates the health and happiness of young girls. After admiring the doll demonstration, the interactive songs, the exquisite live koto performance, create your own dolls. You can also try your hand at a koto instrument during the second part of the event.
 
Recommended for children ages 3-10 and accompanying adults. Boys are welcome to participate.

Tickets: $15/$8 Japan Society members; children ages 2 or under free.
