Saturday, April 28, 11 AMCelebrate the arrival of spring with this guided tour of A Giant Leap, focusing on the menagerie of birds and flowers featured in Tōhaku's paintings. Brooklyn Botanic Garden Japanese Garden curator Brian Funk and ornithologist Paul Sweet, American Museum of Natural History, lead participants in identifying species from their painted representations and explain how these flora and fauna interact with one another to create unique ecosystems.
Followed by a special sencha (green tea) reception. Space limited to 30 participants.
