This exclusive conversation explores novel uses of visual, sound, and performance art as a way of expanding the tradition of commemorating momentous events. Join performance artist Eiko Otake (Eiko & Koma) and experimental musician Otomo Yoshihide (founder, Project FUKUSHIMA!) to discuss the intersections of material and non-material forms in their artistic practices as a vehicle for memorializing 3/11.

All tickets include an exclusive post-event reception, and free admission to In the Wake: Japanese Photographers Respond to 3/11.

Tickets $15/$12 Japan Society members, seniors & students (includes exhibition admission).
