For 30 minutes during our September 28th meeting, special guest Yasuko Otsue will demonstrate ouchi ikebana design. Ikebana began as a religious offering at Buddhist altars, and has since evolved as an art form fit for the contemporary era. With ouchi ikebana お家 生け花, literally home ikebana, Otsue-sensei will show how you can make these designs with plants and containers found in your own home.

Admission: This is a free event, with advance RSVP required.
