Japan’s economy expanded at a brisk 4.5 percent in the third quarter and another stimulus package is likely on the way. But economic growth isn’t expected to last and worries about the country’s debt levels persist. Meanwhile, China’s rapid growth is fueling fears of inflation, fiscal pressures have put the euro’s future in doubt, and the Obama administration seems unable to kick start the economy’s jobs machine.
