Spotlight is a new online series that highlights artists and their practices through featured studio tours, live demos, Q&As, and more, exclusively for Japan Society members. In order to foster vital conversations around the arts, Spotlight is a platform that connects artists and audiences across time and place, offering access to artists in New York, the U.S., Japan, and beyond.

Japan Society has historically been committed to emphasizing interconnections between the U.S. and Japan through art and cultural programs. Continuing this tradition, Spotlight aims to emphasize the institution’s dedication to making meaningful connection between the creators and viewers of art.
