In collaboration with the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization, GOOD magazine, and the Designers Accord, the Innovators Network co-organized Design & Sustainability, a series of meetings and a large public forum in Tokyo to look at design and sustainability, and meetings with designers in New York.
The program began with a two-day intensive schedule of meetings with designers interested in environmental and social design to learn more about the design community in Japan. This was followed by a day-long symposium, Social Design: Design + Community + Social Impact, The Latest from GOOD Magazine and IDEO, at the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization’s space in central Tokyo.
