2012-2013 Season

 

Japan Society’s 2012-13 Performing Arts season is reflective of a country that diligently preserves its past while at the same time reaching far, far out into the future! From programs that honor the age-old traditions of the shakuhachi, kagura and Rimpa art to ground-breaking robotic theater, cutting-edge multimedia dance, outer space-inspired art, and more, this season will take you on a ride through time and space with the best in dance, music and theater from Japan as your vehicle.

Performances
