Resiliency has always been a defining theme between the United States and Japan, as demonstrated by New York during 9/11, and Tohoku during 3/11. These events are reminders that even in the darkest moments, light can and does shine in the form of inspiration and hope.
Our reimagined Annual Dinner allows us to celebrate, stay connected and build on our mission of bringing our two communities together. Join noted television personality and fashion model Mika Ahn from Tokyo and Japan Society President, Joshua W. Walker, PhD from New York, to celebrate our two great countries as we connect, converse, celebrate, and engage to fulfill our mission of bridge building and support.
Guests will be treated to an inspirational program that will include greetings from notable leaders and public figures, along with a captivating musical performance. We will also express our sincere gratitude to our countries’ COVID-19 frontline responders through a heartfelt presentation, signaling our historical and shared commitment to helping one another.
