An Evening with Maurice Greenberg:
The AIG Story

In 1962, Maurice R. Greenberg was handed leadership of American Home, a small, failing insurance company, and a legacy company of American International Group (AIG). By 2004, AIG had become the world's eighteenth largest company. Mr. Greenberg offers a first-hand account of AIG's pioneering of open markets and offers critical perspectives on issues, such as the battles with N.Y. Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and the U.S. government seizure of AIG amid the financial crises of 2008. Hear the inside story and learn about the entrepreneurial culture and leadership that led to AIG's success, and how these lessons can apply to the U.S. and businesses moving forward. Join Japan Society for a discussion about the new book The AIG Story.
