Every Nation for Itself: Japan's Place in a G-Zero World

With a still-rising China, growth slowing in America and the European Union in turmoil, a true global leader that can lead the world into a more stable and secure future is increasingly harder to identify. In addition, key leadership positions have changed in China and America and potential changes are set to occur in Japan and South Korea. These new variables have contributed to uncertainty about the future of the political and economic outlook for Asia and Japan. Ian Bremmer, President, Eurasia Group, discusses the future of Asia's geo-political landscape, Japan's place within it and what might emerge after the current G-Zero world, where there is no consistent or effective global leadership.
