Discover how to order food in Japanese with these 2 expressions!

#1 sumimasen − excuse me (use to get the waiter's attention)

#2 ________ onegaishimasu − ______ please

Counters (general use)

Place before onegaishimasu when ordering for the number of items desired.

1 - hitotsu 
2 - futatsu 
3 - mittsu 
4 - yottsu 
5 - itsutsu 
6 - muttsu 
7 - nanatsu 
8 - yattsu 
9 - kokonotsu 
10 - too 

Use the particle to as "and" to order different items.

ex. 5 ramens and 4 beers and 1 ice cream please.
Itsutsu raamen to yottsu biiru to hitotsu aisu kuriimu onegaishimasu.
